NAMM 2024
Heading Back to NAMM.
I'm very excited to be heading back to NAMM this year. NAMM is always a big deal. For me, this one could just be the best yet.
My first NAMM was in 2003, working Emmett at the Stick Enterprises booth. The doors that opened after that show were life changing. Three years working with Emmett, then a 13 year hiatus and a return in 2018. At that show, I gathered the final pieces for Steinberger and ended up with a publishing deal. More opening doors. In 2020, I ended up sitting beside Rob Turner, which led to Chasing Tone. Notice a trend? This year is the first January show since 2020. The show has changed. The reasons for the show have changed. Many of the big names won't be there, which only leaves space for other creative souls to fill. I've already made arrangements to connect with some pretty exciting folks doing very cool things. I'm sure that's only the tip of the iceberg though. If 2024 is anything like every other NAMM show I've been to, there will be no shortage of doors to open. I'll be sure to post pics on Facebook, maybe even Instagram. Watch for those. In the meantime, checkout some pics from my NAMMs over the years. |
