Nice Words from Nice People
"Jim is doing wonderful things on The Stick. Good chops, good musical ideas. He is probably getting airplay too!"
- Lee Underwood, Former Downbeat West Coast Editor, and Author of Tim Buckley's biography: Blue Melody.
"The highlight is the awesome jazz musician, Jim Reilly. His work is something to behold.”
-Todd McCracken, Off-Centre Magazine
"From the instrument inventor/builder to Jim Reilly, a mainstay performing artist and Stick instructor, I'd like to express my gratitude for your growing contributions to the two-handed string tapping art. I've seen the effect of your inspiration and dedication on audiences. Thank you for a unique and creative approach to this still relatively new stringed instrument with its own novel method of playing on strings."
-Emmett Chapman, Inventor of The Chapman Stick.
"Jim's music reveals the innate beauty of The Stick."
-Greg Howard, Chapman Stick Artist.
