I’ve always been interested in the lives people build around creative work—not just the finished work itself, but the process, discipline, uncertainty, and sustained attention behind it.
Through podcast conversations, writing projects, and collaborative storytelling, I spend time with musicians, artists, makers, and thinkers whose work has taken shape over years, sometimes decades.
Again and again, those conversations seem to converge on the same point: the deeper narrative underlying the work itself.
Words X Music began as a way to explore those stories in conversation. Over time, it also became a path toward something more collaborative—working directly with individuals interested in shaping a life’s work into story.
I’m less interested in polished mythology than in the texture of a real creative life: the turns, revisions, obsessions, doubts, and moments of clarity that often only make sense in hindsight.
I take on a limited number of collaborative projects each year.
